Breakfast

Breakfast is definitely one of my children’s favourite meals and always has been! I find it a great way to top up their intakes before we start the day. Luckily, both Raffy and Ada are usually pretty hungry in the morning so they tend to gobble up whatever’s on offer. For this reason, I love to vary what they have at breakfast time.

Porridge is a favourite in our house and some of the low-sugar, fortified cereals are great for quick breakfasts too. There are plenty of really simple options out there, but in this section I offer a real variety of easy breakfasts you can make for your toddler, to give them a good balance of foods first thing in the day. Some of these recipes take a little longer to make and might be best for the weekends, but lots of them are simple options you can make the night before (or freeze for another day) and just pop out for a ready-made option in the morning!
